Nursing in the Community

The faculty has discovered a discrepancy in the administration of the midterm tests within the Nursing in the Community class among the three campuses. The faculty has discussed this issue and reached a decision regarding a proper course of action. The administration of the final will be changed as follows: 1-If your campus allowed open notes on the mid-term then your final will be closed notes. 2-If your campus did not allow open notes on the mid-term then your final will be open notes (not open book). If you have additional questions regarding this issue, please discuss them with your community instructor. Wendy Hines RN, MSN Nurisng Program Director

Summer Pinning Ceremony

On August 1, 2007, 21 Region A Nursing Students received their nurisng pin in a ceremony held on the Haywood Community College Campus. This was a very special ceremony for the students and included: guest speaker Deb Hogan, a video tribute to the student's families, and a reception afterward held in the gradutes' honor. We are very proud of these graduates and wish them the best.
