Blackboard Access for HCC Students in NUR 188

If you are a HCC student enrolling in the SCC campus NUR 188 for this fall you will have access to the Blackboard site tomorrow morning. You will not be responsible for any information until Thursday. You will access your course through the SCC Blackboard site not the HCC site. Wendy

Please note that the Region A Nursing Consortium Students who are in the OB/PEDS class, will be meeting for orientation on Thursday, May 21st at 9:00 am, at the Almond Center. You will be given instructions regarding Friday's class, which will be from 9 to 5, at the orientation on Thursday.

Murphy Medical Preceptorships

Precepting at Murphy Medical

If you are precepting at Murphy Medical Center for NUR 235 and have never been there for clinical before, then you must complete the Student Orientation manual, sign the HIPAA/compliance agreements, and take a test on the manual. Please call Mary OConnor at 837-8161 ext 6170 to set up a time to do this. Also, all students who are precepting at Murphy Med will need to go to Jessica Corn's office (M-F from 8am to 5pm and get their computer password set up. This must be done prior to the start of preceptorship.
